Creation Week Camp is an ongoing experiment in community.
Our respect and acceptance of one another fosters spiritual and personal growth, as well as creativity.
Creation Week Camp celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year! Visit our Anniversary Page to learn more about the Gala and Silent Auction held in honor of this incredible community.
Founded in 1989, Creation Week is a week-long summer camp for youth age 11 (or finished 5th grade) through age 18 (finished 12th grade), and currently takes place at Koinonia Campground in Middlesex, NY. We had a fabulous time at camp this year! You can check out some pictures of our week here.
Some of our typical daily activities included:
- Meditation, yoga, or Tai Ji
- Major and Minor programs
- Free time to use the pool, hang out on the quad, or play games
- Campfire with songs, skits, and stories
Creation Week Camp is a ministry of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Penn Yan, NY, and is supported by the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester, its Southeast District, and many individual donors. New donations are always welcome! (The Donate button can be used to make donations to the scholarship fund, or to make camper tuition payments, through PayPal. When you complete your transaction, use the “special instructions” box to designate your donation for the scholarship fund or to indicate the name of the camper being sponsored.)
